About Us
Our Starting Point
LD Security is a free security protection tool for the Windows platform, with its source code publicly available on GitHub. The project's original intention is simple: to create software that is not bloated, does not disturb users, and can effectively complete its protection tasks.
Many security programs on the market are bloated and redundant, often bundled with extra modules that users don't need, along with pop-up ads and background processes that are hard to close. LD aims for a different approach—focusing heavily on core scanning and removal, and leaving the rest for the user to decide.
LD Security Center is the main program. Built on the ClamAV open-source engine, it combines self-developed and native databases to offer real-time protection, various scan modes, startup item management, and log recording. LD HIPS is a proactive system defense tool that monitors behaviors to prevent malware tampering. LD Security Browser ensures an extra layer of privacy while surfing.
The project is continuously maintained. We welcome bug reports and code contributions via GitHub.
